Welcome to the Porcelain Enamel Institute
PEI - Training the Enamelers, Sustaining the Technology & Promoting the Advantages of Porcelain Enamel
Founded in 1930, the Porcelain Enamel Institute, Inc. (PEI) remains dedicated to advancing the common interests of porcelain enamel manufacturers as well as suppliers of porcelain enameling materials, supplies, equipment and technology. PEI is a crossroads and a "clearinghouse for information on porcelain enameling for the entire industry."
Through its major programs and activities, PEI serves three primary objectives:
- Showcase and promote innovations in materials and processing to help improve the overall quality and efficiency of porcelain enamel operations,
- Promote the product generally and encourage its use in all possible applications, and
- Advance and protect the legitimate interests of the industry and PEI's member companies.
With an active committee structure that includes representatives from all segments of the industry, PEI is geared to provide valuable, timely programs and services to executives, managers and operators at all organization levels.
